Good morning Fairy

There's always plenty of coffee in the cupboards here - I buy lots and lots when it's on special offer   stocks are getting a little low tho' .................. I'll be heading for Wrose in a bit . when the kitchen's had a good wipe down with a damp cloth to make sure there's not bits of glass left laying around to sabotage my fingers and toes ..........

There was thankfully more coffee in the cupboard Chicky   The jar that broke was a Le Parfait storage one with a spring clip. Duh!

Sounds like a good weekend ahead Chicky - enjoy

Oh dear! There has been a catastrophe! OH tells me the coffee jar has broken and there are shards of glass lurking in the kitchen. He's done what he can but now must go to work ... I shall have to deal with it in a bit, then go to Waitrose and buy a new coffee jar ......... And more coffee!!!!

Good morning all   G'day Pat

The day has dawned fine and almost sunny, and I'm watching bluetits popping in and out of their nestbox, but the weatherman said we're getting a chilly East wind off the North Sea and I can see a neighbours pampas grass being buffetted and bashed around Brrrrr!

Very tired and sleepy .............

Why have the bluetits attacked the wire of my nest cam?

Female blue tits often spend time adjusting the entrance and interior of their chosen nesting place.  Our nest boxes have signs of 'amendment' around the entrance holes.

Hazel - I was going to reward my good behaviour by spending some time in the garden, but it was so bitterly cold that I popped out there and popped straight back in again ... there's chilly and there's flippin' freezin'

I got the knitting out
