Well, I think, they do not spread, but we should take cuttings to increase stock. As to deciding between pots or boarders, I might leave that one for wiser heads. I potted up My dahlias a couple of weeks ago and they are only just showing some growth

Thank you, for that helpful tip, I'm still a bit frightened about planting them out now, it's very wet (again) and we still have the threat of frosts, last year we had a heavy frost in June!

Just had another question to ask for some help with. I need to support my plants well when I plant them, is there something inexpensive that I can use?
