obelixx that sounds amazing. The old blue stone slabs sound nice, did you acquire these from a reclaimation yard and were they difficult to lay?

break23 Fairygirl obelixx I am not touting for business, I enjoy reading a range of blogs and I do share them if I think they will help or be useful for others on the forum.

I am genuinely interested to get peoples advice on patio design and see what other forum users have done with their patio area. It is all good inspiration!

With the weather finally improving,  I am keen to get in the garden and start tinkering around, as I am sure everyone else is.

I have been looking at ways to improve my patio and came across this: http://www.house-extension.co.uk/garden-patio-ideas-10-tips-to-decorate-and-furnish-your-patio/

It offers some good ideas on ways decorate the patio.

However I am always keen to hear peoples suggestions on here as they usually come up with something I haven't considered before.

So please can you offer some great ideas to create a stylish patio area.
