Hi all, ive grown bulb fennel on my allotment this year for the first time,does anyone have a way of cooking, other than using with  fish.

Glentoranmark try your  local garden centre as they will give all the advice you need.  I  sowed it last year but found it very hard to dig back into the ground i probably sowed it too thick,will try again this year but on a smaller bed.ps did u hear the score last nite

florafanatic,we have blight on almost every plot this year.  I planted Carra potatoes and so far are the only ones that have not been blighted,Desiree,King Edward ,Golden Wonder all have it.Our allotment is in Carrickfergus N Ireland.What a terrible year

I planted six calabrese brocoli at the beginning of April,everyone of them has shot and gone to flower. Has any one any idea as to why this has occured.
