I have room for a honeysuckle, but only one.  I don't want an early flowering one but I've no idea which to choose.  I'd go for disease free and easy to grow if possible and there is a wired fence to grow it against.  Please tell me which one you love.  I have no colour preference except yellow isn't my favourate colour but I have an open mind.  Thank you for your help.

I find I've lost some of my heucheras this year.  Even one I had in a very sheltered place.  Are the lime coloured ones more tender than some of the others?

Not bulbs at all!

Posted: 19/04/2013 at 09:22

I've had several clutches of bulbs sitting on the surface of my garden in places where I knew there were no bulbs.  I've been wondering for weeks what they can be.  They are now opening into my blue drumstick primulas.  I've never seen them like this before.  I wonder when I should divide them.

Help - Wormery liquid fertiliser

Posted: 06/05/2012 at 19:07

Two questions please.  The latest three pints or so from my liquid fertilizer from my wormery is light in colour, almost the same as tea - and smells quite acidic.  It almost fizzes when I add water.  Why has my wormery produced this in contrast to the lovely brown liquid it has provided for years.

And, I've been told that liquid fertilizer from wormeries doesn't keep very long because its full of bacteria.  I have some from last year, is it useless now?

Forgive the spelling but I have five of these little plants.  How best can I use them in my garden or in pots?  Are they very tiny blue flowers?

How can I encourage my pieris to be as brightly red as my neighbours' plants.  Mine is several years old, looks very healthy, always produced some red shoots but never many.  Is it the pruning?
