I have violas, pansies and cyclemen (hardy ones) out in pots, the Spring and Summer bulbs planted under them. Why don't you get some chooks, they're fab (if you remember to protect your plants that is lol )

Ah bugrit.............. I say this every time the blummin plastic greenhouse blows over. I've just come back from visiting my Dad in Chesterfield, went to lock the chicken coop, spotted the blow-away greenhouse being supported only by the washing line AGAIN, and once again said ah bugrit.......yet another bloomin' job for the morning!

My Grandpa set up a little display when I was 7 years old or so. Every time I see a Catherine Wheel, I think of him.

When I was about 5, my Dad bought some of those indoor fireworks. He lit one, and it oozed what looked like greyish foam lol

These days, me and hubby take the kids onto the bridge next to the local cricket club to watch their organised display. We watch the fireworks and drink hot chocolate. Then we go home, eat Daddy's Special Burgers, and then get the sparklers out.
