Hello, I am new to this site and would welcome the input of gardeners out there who have experience of growing Abutilon megapotamicum. I have a tiny garden with a fence facing east and a warmer wall which, however, receives less direct sunlight. Would it be better from the point of view of flower production for the plant to stay warmer in winter, or to have more direct sunlight? In my previous garden I grew A. 'Kent Belle' through a Cotoneaster horizontalis--which was a great success. Temperatures in my new garden just dropped to -13 degrees C and I am wondering whether it is worth making the attempt!
