Has spring arrived for you yet?

Regardless of the snow today, yes spring is here as far as im concerned!. The birds are singing their hearts out, my crocus' are out and my wee tete a tete daffs are brightening up my garden here and there. The bullfinches are back nipping the buds from my trees and when the sun does shine there is just that wee bit of heat....

O dear C I feel for you. I do garden maintenance for a living and always make sure that myself and customer have agreed on any bigger stuff being done. And if im not sure I dont touch it. I do some gardens that have been hacked by cowboys passing as gardeners its upsetting to see what they leave behind. Hope you get the resolution you are looking for. E.Q.

Yes S have considered the mowing bit and know how easy it is to scalp a" not very flat lawn"!!

thanks N thats something i hadnt thought of. I have lots of soil to remove to get the lawn flat so the mound would be easier in that respect!

hello everyone im a'newbie' to the site! Im in process of landscaping another section of my garden this spring and fancy a mound lawn as featured in march issue of G.W. I wondered if anyone has tried this and if they had turfed the lawn, which is what I plan to do??
