Imagine my excitement....

I got rid of my small lawns years ago which left me with bigger borders and gravel paths. I've never regretted it.

What is this?

FORKERS Sheds

I've got a stone built shed, the walls are so thick it'd probably make a decent bomb shelter. Spare fridge ( mostly used for seeds), small upright freezer, old microwave ( for sterilising old potting compost) ladders, clothes props, pressure washer, cloches and pots all live in there. I replaced the nasty sloping asbestos roof with a flat root and decking, so which is the main sitting area in the garden.
Sometimes it's tidier than others!

Yup, I've got peas coming along nicely in guttering. Carrots and spring onions as well.

What tree is this?

It might be one of those standard type bays with 3 stems that are woven together as it grows.

WIND AHHHH

Possibly the cheapest and easiest fix might be those windbreaks fitted to wooden screens which are designed for beach use.
But maybe don't score too high on the attractiveness scale.

Today's dilemma

If you're worried about your onion sets, you could always cover them with fleece, or an old blanket, even newspaper. Just remember to take it off during the day.

Weather's bad

I'm sad

One day soon

Maybe no more gloom

But for now

I'm glad

I have an iPad

Overwintered runner bans

Left the roots in after clearing last year's crop, they've survived the winter and putting up new growth.
