The last lot I soaked for about 5 hours before sowing and they came up much quicker than the ones I didn't soak.
I've bought Clover multipurpose compost, which is lovely, no rubbish in it.
I'd be upset too, but you've got to be thankful you've got a daughter who'll go outside instead of just coming home and sitting in front of the tv.
