If the plant thought to be euphorbia has a milky white sap (irritant) then it is definitely euphorbia

Sarah Berhardt, big blowsy light pink petals that are too heavy for the stems to hold up? That's the one I've got, it was a Gardeners' World offer a few years ago. I'd prefer a single flower one that doesn't flop

Most diseases tend to be crop specific so something that isn't in the curcurbit family should be fine

It sounds that we don't have the right climate to have that as a problem in the UK, hopefully it won't turn up
