Remember that alliums have a lot of foliage which looks untidy after flowering, some people try to hide them behind other plants to hide this

It could be that they have been stored somewhere cool prior to shipping to force dormancy on it.

Looks like the fruit on Cornus kousa or similar dogwoods, but I'm not sure the leaves are right

Looks like the scaredy cat plant, Coleus canina. Usually planted to keep cats away because they don't like the smell of it.

I plant my garlic cloves 15cm/ 6inches apart, in rows 30cm/ 12inches apart. If you wanted to grow anything amongst your garlic, you'd need to leave more space between rows which would defeat the purpose of trying to save space by interplanting anyway

The deeper you plant your tulips the better. If you want them to come back in future years, plant them a full 12 inches deep
