Was going to say good morning bu t it has taken me ages to catch up so Good Afternoon Forkers All. I think I already waved at Sasha but in case I didn't ~ ~ ~ (Flo waves)

Christmas is done now I have entertained visitors. Don't do New Year really, apart from waking up on Jan. 1st and finding it's happened.

We have sunshine and breeze here so trying to catch up on washing which was on hold while drains were overflowing.  Can hear beeping, had better go and peg it out.

Quick dash in for a hello. I'm entertaining visitors really. Tried to get on site this morning, no go. Thought it was just me but clearly not.

Glad Becks is not totally incommunicado.

Morning Jean and Dove. Wonder where everyone else is this morning.
Nice to have a new bug on board. Hello Budlia ~~ Flo waves.

Didn't come out to play last night - got lost in a book. One made of paper and pages.

I have a day of preparations for visitors tomorrow. Have a good day all.

Bjay - you little tinker! Or should that be tinkler?
As you hoped, I was deceived into imagining real feathery chooks   I think they are gorgeous, though, and will cost nothing in food or vets bills. Why do they need solar power? What do they do?

There's bound to be a 'settings' tab in a menu on your camera and within that a time/date/display option. Sometimes you have to hunt for it, though.

Bjay, what a lovely pressie. Hope they settle in well.

No rain to speak of here this morning. OH told me there was torrential in the night with thunder and lightning, dogs banging on baby gate; I slept through it all

Morning early risers.

Dove, I'm on the high horse with you! I'm great with leftovers too, absorbed the habit from parents who were brought up during rationing era - and with modern freezers there's no excuse for wasting stuff. And there's the compost heaps and the wormery and the chooks ...

I'm going to have to brave some shopping today and tomorrow as we have my sister with husband, daughter and dog coming on Sat. Haven't got any pressies for them yet!!!!

Afters all.

We had cold pork and bubble & squeak yesterday, Glyn - very nice - as our Christmas dinner was on Sun. Jacket spuds today with whatever is to hand in the fridge or cupboard.

Did two walks at the dog rescue this morning, have been lolling and doing crosswrods etc ever since. Need to take my dogs out but it's windy and rainy now   S'pose I'd better grit my teeth and get into the wet weather gear then I can sit down with the Radiotimes and plan this evenig's viewing & recording.

Have fun whatever you're doing.

Oh, Bjay! I didn't mean to nick your pink wheelbarrow and donate it to Caz. No wonder you're hiding it inthe kitchen

Recording Downton as I'm rather tellied out at the mo. Lazing in Christmas jimjams (with Tigger on) in front of wood burner. It's a bit hot and I've had to open the conservatory door so I don't melt

Caz, I love that joke, and your pink wheelbarrow. Decided not to put wheelbarrow on my list as it's very hard to direct OH to exactly the right thing even when I write the names of the shops, the serial numbers, attach a photograph etc!

Sounds as if everyone's having a lovely day. OH got home about 2.30 so I've had my opening now
Looking forward to entertainment when dogs open their parcels. I'll probably be refereeing fights if I know my lots.
