Right oh, this is me signing off until after I've caught up with Strictly tomorrow. Have treble-checked recording settings for the show. Just have to hope no power-cut. There is no reason to suppose there will be but ...

Anyway enjoy your evenings all / your morning Inka.

Geoff it is rude to peer up a fairy's skirt

It's Abracatraz for you

I do feel for you having to book-sort, Jo, it's a tricky thing.

Right, we have a tree to be going on with. A tiny silver one with a very small fairy on top and my belly-dancing lights wound round.

Jo, carrier bag idea is great for shows - much more noticeable! Went to Great Dorset Steam Fair a couple of years ago, had to leave earlier than friends & family as dogs had been alone all day. The car park looked like a different planet compared with when I'd parked   After much searching I had to go back into the showground and get my bro-in-law to help me find it.

Did errands and dog-walked this pm, not really time to go tree-rescuing. Maybe tomorrow.

Oh, joy unconfined, the library was open so I now have some books for the duration

Here's how I recognise my car which predates flashing lights, beeps, whistles etc.

I think I may supply him with a new pennant for Christmas as that one looks very faded.

Choccy - angel.

Pain has stopped for now, moat subsiding. My chooks seem quite happy to potter about in the wet though have the common sense now to shelter in the ranch when it's pelting down.

I feel the urge to read, don't know what, though. S'pose library won't be open for ages now.

Jean, that is a very cheering sight

At least we don't have flooding in the house like some poor people do.

Morning earlyish risers.

Persistently paining here, moat round front and side of house, loo won't flush, can't run dishwasher or washing machine   Dogs are dripping all over the floor even though they only popped outside for the necessities of life.

Looking forward to SCD though I'm out at a performance of The Messiah tonight (assuming Noye's Fludde doesn't prevent us) so will have to stay incommunicado until I have caught up.

Stay dry, have fun.
