All hail Sotonians! We haven't had any over here. We danced in a marquee. With heaters. We all got hot and started taking things off   ;- )

Sorting out Christmas avatar now.

Wave, wave. I'm here.

Have had errands to do this morning, next job to take dogs for walk then belly dancing in a shopping square at 1 - have to sort out thermals to wear under costume! I expect our shimmying will be exceptionally good today ;- )

Can't get excited about buying Christmas pressies. OH offered to buy me slippers yesterday :- (  . I must offer him my list.

Morning Inka, evening all.

That abcess sounds dire, Inka. My OH had a face like a football when he had one once - looked so painful. Hope yours is quickly cured. I expect you're made of sterner stuff than my OH, I think most people are!   ;- )

Geoff, I have let the decorator off today as he had an outside job to finish. He'll be back on Monday, and Tuesday, and maybe a bit of Wednesday. I have begun to stop feeling quite so guilty about having someone else doing jobs in the house that I feel I should be doing.

If Dean is a country park, does he have a Forest as well? One of my sisters lives in the Forest of Dean.

So we can say 'Thank Becks it's Friday' next week then :- D

I know plenty of dogs called Archie and Bonnie but no Wilfreds. Wilfred is old English meaning 'desiring peace' which is a lovely sentiment. Will could be a nice shortening if you like that, Lottie.

My sister was horrified when her son & DiL announced that their first born was going to be Ethan as she just doesn't like it. Couldn't say anything, though. Then they changed their minds and called him Finlay.
