Thank Flo it's Friday!!

:- D :- D  You're welcome. I can bestow Fridays on the populace becasue I was born on a Friday. Friday's child is loving and giving, you know!.

I'm also tempted by a chicken book of humour. I love Gary Larson's style and when I was a wee gel I loved Thelwell - ponies and all that.

If they're anything like mine, Bjay, they'll be dreaming about feeding time anyway!

Not that interesting, then.

Ask Prof. Brian Cox, I bet it's a woo-woo number.

Oh yes, the review. I enjoyed the play, my friend and I got a fit of the giggles when I laughed rather loudly at one line and no-one else did. But since a local hack wrote the review, this is all I keep hearing:

"Steve* is perfect as the straight man, Rev. David Thomas, satisfyingly obtuse and unaware of goings on about him"

*That's OH. I didn't think he was acting, really  ;- D

Page 638 is still as wierd as last night!!

Perhaps 638 is a number of magical weirdness and anything can happen. Look out for mysterious happenings at 6.38 GMT and invisible cars with 638 on the reg. plate.

"Captain, we have a 638, deploy your top men/women in short order"

Morning GeoffPamGaryJoJean. I made it for morning registration today. Frosty and bright though not a heavy frost. The sounds of sandpapering are coming from the dining room - it's very weird having someone in to do this as I have always done my own decorating.

The only bird that has been spotted on my new feeding facility is one robin. Squirrels are the usual occupants as there is an easy jump from the stone dragon on to the dish thingy.

Jo, you have my sympathies living with people who want to acquire more 'stuff' when you are trying to get rid of it! I'm a bit of a hoarder but every so often steel myself for a chuck-out and the current bout of decorating is a good chance to get in that frame of mind.

OH just off to optician, Jean, can I get him to bring anything back for you?   ;- )

Hello everyone, late again. Living in a major muddle while decorator is in. Went to get paintable paper and paint. Forgot to check if pot of paint I have is matt or silk so came back with paper only and a warm top and a pair of socks. Not all items are stocked by Homebase.OH decided to invite his cousin over after their uncle's  funeral this morning - at least I got a GC lunch amidst all the hassle! Not much chance to catch up but

Gary :- D can't remember what for now but I liked it.

Inka, I like your upholstering. I did have a go at a very plain three seater sofa once when young and poor. Not a bad effort for a beginner and an interesting and satisfying experience.

Pam, hope to see piccy of camels in due course.

Becks, hope the lurgy takes itself back where it came from! Keep warm and indulge yourselves.

In a primary classroom dude is probably the past participle of the verb do.

As in 'I dude all mi hoamwerk for wuns.'

Hello! Having a well-earned rest after clearing the dining room and managing to stash the contents - apart from the piano and the dining table - in other parts of the house. Going to see OH playing a vicar in a play this evening so need to shower and change. Hoping that he'll start cooking tea while I hide in the shower.

Have done some catching up - most entertaining as usual. Caz, I think it's hilarious being living history :- D :- D

I was rather accident -prone as a child. Never broke a bone as I am not the bold adventurous type, more the curious type - stick press stud up nose, try to drink from tiny dolls house cup, that sort of accident. And falling off not very high things and getting cuts and bruises, sometimes requiring stitches.
