You know what to do with beans, Kate. Chuck 'em out window, wait for huge beanstalk to grow in the night, shimmy up tomorrow and nick gold from sleeping giant.

Geoff, glad closing date is tomorrw, I'm in the middle of steam stripping flippin' ceiling paper woodchip covered with paint. It's been on hold for a few weeks due to general decriptude of my neck and shoulders.

Gary, thanks for link. I would like some highlights but not at £30.

Kate, could it be the small dark smeaky slugs that lurk underground doing the damage? On more than one programme over the years I've heard that they tend to be the major culprits and it's the big fat noticeable ones that get the blame.

I'm using industrial quantitiies of anti histamine cream at the mo. as I keep getting small bites from passing mozzies.

I want to see the penguin who needs a wetsuit. Sat through all of South Today and he wasn't on. Bloomin' postbox.

Very interesting, Kate.

Evenin' all. Busy busy, first time here today.

Thought closing ceremony was on the whole enjoyable. There were enough bits suitable for going to the loo, making tea. Liked the oldies - Who, Queen, etc fave bit was Always Look in the Bright Side esp. Indian Dancers! And I thought the ending of the flame was lovely.

Big 'Strictly' fan here. Haven't chosen my partner yet. Oh noooo. Enders twice tonight :- (  I think Sharon's back in a wedding dress travelling by the Floo network at a guess..

A bit too much like a concert, Kate. As you say, probably better if you're there and joining in.

You may have already attempted to find this online but, if not, then try it. I found instructions for using an old sewing machine - though it took a lot of digging and patience to find the right thing.
