I look after a nursing home garden, all raised beds, one bed is full of shrubs, is it warm enough to mix the feed into the top soil yet, it says on the box to put down in spring, but because of the bad weather we have had I have held back.

Today has felt really warm on the Wirral, actually feels springish, haven't had my heating on yet. Feel as if I want to go to Ness Gardens later in the week with it being so nice today. Checked the forecast for the coming week and the temps are slowing creeping up......please God the warmer weather is now on its way.

Sweet peas

I am not too good with sweet peas Loz, haven't got a greenhouse so I grow mine on my window sill but as of yet I have had no success, they always grow leggy.......will try growing them outside when the weather warms up.

I had cosmos seeds in my cold frame during this cold spell and NOTHING.....not a peek from anything so have brought them inside to see if that will get them started, not sure but will see if it works.
