Hi everyone.....I am pleased I can upload photo's now from my IPad....a couple of blips allong the way but I am getting there.  These are some of my orchids in flower again.....which means I must be doing something right.  Photo looks a bit wonky....never mind........anyway it is nice to be able to see other people's flowers etc....sorry for interrupting.

Hi caravan queen, I am just looking in my RHS Grow your own flowers and dianthus has many varieties including pinks (which is what I think you were expecting) , sweet William and the tall carnations for cutting so there are different varieties of dianthus.

Hope this is of some help.

Hi VP......your allotment sounds really lovely.....especially all the wildlife......it's has a world of its own gardening doesn't it.......definately Is a destresser. I live in aflat, have a balcony with loads of seedlings, plants, ,cold frame, and my flat at the moment is full of cuttings waiting for the warmer weather.  I also look after a garden which is all raised beds of shrubs and bedding plants in the summer.  Just thinking gardening is also good for sleeping....done quite a bit today and could nod off very easily.

anyway VP enjoy the site.

Are these plastic chairs you are talking about Rose ...I've got some mouldy and grungy chairs covered in green and grey...tried scrubbing them but no success...they are plastic but unfortunately white.
