Hi Adam, I look after a nursing home garden which has soon beautiful lavenders in. I have taken alot of seeds recently to try and grow some next spring, but I was also thinking of taking some cuttings this week ( September) , is it too late to take then how do I care for them over the winter.

Hello everyone, hope you are all well.....haven't been on the site for a while.....things have been really hectic.   felt I had died and gone to heaven this morning, we bought a bench for our communal gardens yesterday, this morning I sat out there with a cup of coffee and enjoyed listening to and watching the wildlife.  Absolutely priceless.

Some thing is eating my beautiful geraniums right up to the top of the plants.  Full of holes......last year I found something like a black and white caterpillar on one of them....must have been alot more......nearly thirty plants were full of holes.  Anyone now how I get rid of them?  A friend suggest I spray the plant with very dilute washing up liquid in a watering can........anyone else heard of this.  Would appreciate some feedback, the garden I look after is for a nursing home. Thanks

Today I feel so happy....
