Are these plastic chairs you are talking about Rose ...I've got some mouldy and grungy chairs covered in green and grey...tried scrubbing them but no success...they are plastic but unfortunately white.

hi jazz, I love geraniums but have never thought of pinching out their tips......mmmm....will give it a try........usually with pinching out I think it is the top shoots but not sure with geraniums, will give it a harm in trying...

My flat is starting to bulge at the seams with all my plants.......but will  hold back the planting. Hurry up summer or spring.....

Has anyone put out there bedding plants yet or cuttings.......I have been hardening off some of my plants but with the threat of frost I am still holding back.....was going to put them put next week, come what may.  Wow.....can't believe I can upload a photo....been trying for months!!!!!

The azaleas I look after are growing but no flowers new growth on them but can't see any flower buds.......put slow release eracious feed down last week so hopefully with the weather warming they will flower soon.

Thanks Verdun. That makes sense about the birds eating the slugs. Will put nematodes down then when the weather is a bit warmer.

Am thinking of getting nematodes to deal with the mass of slugs I am expecting again this year. I can't use pellets because sometimes there are children in the area and also they think birds may eat the pellets...has anyone else heard that.
Last year the slugs nearly murdered all the bedding plants in the raised beds, I am not going to let them get away with it this year. If you use nematodes do you need to change the compost later in the year or can you just put fresh compost on the top?
