whats eating my runner bean leaves

Hi something is eating my runner bean leaves and having a real good feast on them... I thought at first its snails or slugs so put slug pellits down but they still seem to be eaten, even the really small leaves that are well over a foot off the round....4 out of 7 plants are still growing but they have all been eaten....

any ideas anybody as to what is eating the and what can I do ..Please !!!

I have thought of putting some white fleecey stuff over the to prevent what ever is eating them getting to them but then they wouldn't get any light..

my runner beans are being eaten.. the leaves are just being left like green lacey doileys..They are still rowing though...
Whats eating them and can I do anything to stop it.

Hi...I have a large container(with drainage holes in) with horse manure in and on top of that i have put about 4 inches of potting compost and planted a courgette plant and its florishing...seems to be a new leaf everyday..its great as its not too big to move about the garden so it gets lots of sun....

Su6...,.I am growing carrots, parsnip ,leeks, peas, garlic, salad leaves, aubergines, tomatoes, courgettes in pots..the only thing i would say is when growing any root veg in pots make sure the pots are deethis is my 1st year at planting vegp enough or you will end with with stubby veg....this is my 1st year at planting veg and i too am getting excited to see how it all is..good luck

Hi I have planted peas in a large pot with canes and they are growing really well but have noticed white bloches/spots on the leaves.....can anybody help by telling me what it is and what I can do about it.

Timing for seedling planting with this weather?

Allotmentmax..I have a plastic cold frame it brill its about 1 meter x 1 meter and about 75 cm tall.you can fit at least 2 grow bags in it.. it sits on my patio and I have peppers, cucumber and a aubergine plant in and still plenty of room for other things too.. it was £12.50....

liquid horse poo

Hi.. I have had a fresh horse poo tea bag in my water butt for a week now and I am wondering what's ok to put it on and when.. I am growing, cabbage, courgette, runner beans, peas, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumber, aubergine, salad leaves, onions, garlic, peppers and loads of herbs, Plus flowers and shrubs in boarders...

Also I'm growing the potatoes in bags and I beleive I have to add more soil when I have shoots, but how long should the shoots be before adding it.

yeah I'l go and get one at the weekend....very stupid question but is the term 'planting out' mean planting out of the greenhouse into the garden?..
Also I have some potato plants in bags and the shoots are about 2cm above the soil, at what height shoud the shoots be before I add more soil.

Even though I am very new to growing veg I am really enjoying it.. this year will be a big learning curve for me..
