that is good news,its a amazing how strong a wave can be,I for one walking along the shore at Branscombe was swept into the sea by one wave, I found it hard to get back to shore and I had to go home very wet  But back to animals ,I always keep the dog on lead while walking the cliffs so many people don't and you hear of dogs going over and having to rescued if at all.

funny you should say that but I had the feeling was in the air  even if it was cold, wet and windy.  The birds were singing ,the chaffinch in particular .Hope springs eternal that just maybe it wont be too long!

my holly is full of berries too! just waiting for the redwings and fieldfares to come, the berries as do the woodys. I agree that we should grow more berry bushes rather than putting out fat balls but having said that I like to watch the antics of the birds on these .
