you will need a lot of hard graft removing weeds and a rotavator to go over the soil to break it down as being a field it will difficult.Another issue to watch out for is the use you have for the field as my mother who had a couple was asked by the argriculture people what use she going to do with the field and had she changed use but i am sure you know that.good luck and have fun .

Daffs will start to show now but wont flower till spring.

it needs a partner ,you have to have a male and female bush unless its a self fertilizing one.

you needed to re-place the grease band  or paint one on,I put a new grease on the tree every year.

needs to propped up and most likely pruned .Is a ornamental ? as they do not fruit.sounds like it needed to be planted deeper .

I have just pruned mine today,I prune quite hard ,some people leave it later but I do it now so the seeds dont seed everywhere too much.
