I make it into a juice and you can keep in bottles but when opened must be kept in fridge and used within a fortnight or Ice cube the juice.

I put mine in a plastic bag with a drainage hole in the bottom and ever so often after the bag is full ,water.leave till the following spring.

I bring them into the shed the ones I have in pots and cover the others if very bad weather.I dont cut them back unless they are getting messy.

I think your right.even indoor plants that i rescued are bargains ,in away I suppose the nursing back to health is what I like ,since that was my job(humans) .
