Talkback: Hedgehog spotting

I leave all dead foliage over winter so have lots of places for hedgehogs but my garden is fenced all round and I'm not sure how hedgehogs would get in which is a shame as there is always water for the birds(kept ice free) and LOADS of slugs and snails.

Just joined this site and have read posts re leylandii hedges.

I want to remove mine - about 12 trees 25 years old 8 feet high and nearly same wide. I'm getting too old to cut them! Does anyone know how to find or can anyone recommend reliable company/workmen to do this? Wakefield, West Yorkshire area.
