Keep digging and eventually you'll get rid of most of the wild garlic. BUT you need to be vigilent!!

I've  just planted 2 lots of Lemon Queen. Love the yellow flowers but from all the above comments, I'll make sure it dosen't spread too far.

Diverse opinions! I moved my plant and divided it last autumn and fortunately both gave me a good display....small but good. Good digging.

Tree bands

I'm experimenting this year. Some trees I'm using grease tree bands and some just the grease. I'v used grease bands in the past and it seemed to work.

maggie 1..ensure you tie the string tightly round the bands..both top and bottom. Also if the tree is supported by a bamboo cane, ensure the cane has tree bands/grease as well.

I've got a purpurea echinacea which flowered beautifully. I've purchased a white plant and I was thinking of planting this next to the other one? How much space do each need?
