Bizzie b, your right about the rain boosting the growth my evergreen looks like it's grown five inches. I think my friend needs iron gloves as she is always snipping the tops of her fingers, it makes me cringe thinking of it , Marion your plums and pairs look scrumptious mmmmm, and what is the pink flower called?

Hi everyone, it's been sun shining all day in the northwest  So been to the garden centre today and got two big chrysanthemums one pink and one lemon, people commented on them on my way out the shop, real eye catchers , it's forecast rain tomorrow (bank holiday) but I've booked the rest of the week off anyway so hopefully get some dry weather to do some trimming and weeding, just been looking at my tomatoes there must be at least ten and my curly Kales are getting big too (plenty of iron this winter)

Hi Marion so glad your conservatory is fixed, at least you can get on with things now and not worry about that piece of concrete falling on you, your pictures are lovely and the colours are so vivid, first sunny day today and I got migraine , it's rained for two whole weeks and ruined some of my flowers, my tomatoes and curly Kale are doing well, and my sedam (red flowers) as started flowers, I'm happy to say the bees have been very happy this year in our garden , glad your judging day went well, hope you enjoyed it too .

Congratulations to the couple who had a little boy, they are blessed and very lucky , you sound like you've been very busy in your garden even tho the weather has been horrible, it's staying dry so far Marion, apparently it's going to be a nice sunny day tomorrow, hoping I'm not nursing a sore head in the morning .
