 I meant this type of bottle, as it just drips rather than a stream of water

I will do that Marion, when it ever stops raining  it's not stopped today, just been looking at your lovely photos, I bet you could feed the hole neighborhood with them pears , your yellow roses are coming on now, are they sunflowers in the background?

If it ever stops raining I will try and find a piece and take a photo, I got rid of the moss in spring and the lawn looked lovely a month later, I do keep seeing the odd yellow flower popping up, is this part of the weed ?

I think your right potsandpansies, this happened to my lupins when we had the hot weather and I think I over watered it
