That was the only thing that germinated, and it got a lot of TLC as well. Unfortunately I was only looking after a rogue plant .
Thanks. Does it grow very big? It's going out of the door. Lol
The flowers are like that of guilder rose. I will dig it up in autumn when it is dormant.
i bought some kew seeds of some exotic euphorbia from T & M with yellow flowers. This was what I got. This was planted 3 yrs from a seedling. It's about 6ft tall with white flowers with fishy smell. Should I dig it up and bin it? It's in the middle of my raised bed.
What is this tree?
anything that is rampant goes in a pot or get planted in the border with the plant still in the pot. if it spread by seeds, then the seedheads get chopped as soon as the flowers go over.
it depends on what type of soil u have and how big yr garden is. if they like yr soil, then u will get loads of seedlings like grass seedlings and they can take over and swamp the spring display so if u have a small town garden, then its a bit of a nuisance and deadheading will be a better option.
thanks, dovefromabove, i have already loaded the place with all sorts. fritallaria, daffs, crocus, ferns, forget me nots, anemones, muscari, lily of the valley, snowdrops, cyclamen and primroses.
I moved one yesteday. Got a good size root ball and potted it. It was one of these soft leaved ones, so the snails and slugs were still munching on the leaves despite the pellets and the garlic spray. I chopped off the damaged leaves, gave a feed and a good soak and it has responded very well.
awww, i planted a few clumps under my trampoline as an experiment for a woodland area.
1. should i be worried?
2. should i get rid of them?
3. can they be kept in check?
any help will be very much appreciated.
