Ive no idea when really. Ive always loved pottering around and visiting garden centres even though i had no real idea what i was doing. I did, and being honest, still do often plant something and hope for the best. But i started buying gardening books a few years ago and slowly, very slowly, began learning. I was lucky last year to get a small greenhouse and veggie patch in the garden and although i was initially scared to death, I did okay. My cucumber and chilli plants were amazing...ha, I started to bring a cucumber with me when I visited friends! I cant wait to get started again. Being in the garden helps me switch off sometimes, which is something I need to do every now and then being a Mum to two young boys.
