Yes i do agree with all of you, Monty is an excellent gardener and a jolly good presenter.Long may he reign.Great Garden and super Dogs.He is much more cheerful and that twinkle is back in the eye Keep it up Monty .

Now this younger upstart Frost. If he thinks drilling a hole in a post and clipping 4 old rose stumps is a contribution to gardening he should think again. A very large Veg plot seems to have shrunk Why so many "coffins"?

Well all you people just love Dear Old Monty. Take a closer look at the programme and  I get the feeling he`s a little weary, looking somewhat thinner in the face.Is he thinking of retiring?

This one hour slot fits in very nicely for someone whose just bought a 2million pound property and wants to develop it .As Monty has always maintained his garden is not totally suitable. Now with a virgin piece of land and an ex devotee of Geoff Hamilton are we going to see changes? Just a thought

So I like many gardeners I have a slug problem. To be correct my garden has the problem not me.Has anyone got a great list of plants that are really slug proof. There must be a few quality plants .

Oh and by the way I never minded how Monty spent HIS money he can buy what he wants. My question was about how much the BBC is spending in HIs garden. He likes his garden but I think it an overgrown wilderness  Where is the LAWN with cosy flower beds the essence of an English garden ? Ah times change or perhaps he should ,  box blight and all
