Having a go at a cut flower patch...

Posted: Yesterday at 14:52

We are all thinking of growing flowers that we can cut and bring indoors to enjoy, making nice arrangements

So areas in gardens have been put aside for growing flowers to do that and flowers that are good to use have been picked to sow and grow

Just nice to be able to see what we can grow and enjoy in lots of areas in pots/ vases/ tins/ milk bottles - anything we can use to put them in

Great Hollie hock now you have somewhere where those seedlings can go, nice it being a heated greenhouse

Those steps look a brilliant idea

Hello all

I got a nice delivery today some fuchsia's from Lyn which are now in my coldframe

Very windy out I added some more compost to my cut flower bed, just need to do the planning of where things will go.  Also added some horse manure around the rhubarb plants

Fidgetbones that is a great offer but not enough room in garden for that many until I get an allotment plot and also part shade in the veg garden

I go around just looking for pallets normally find they have the HT sign on them so builders near by or skips

or off Gumtree on freebies

Flowers will look nice in them trailing ones or shorter ones if having it vertical, and a cold frame is brilliant really like mine still it proves really useful
