Hello

you could hire a Rotavator this will clear your ground more quickly and should help level off your ground too

So many companies have them look for ones local to you, here is one company that hires out equipment

But remember that ones you do that it is good to cover up areas either with cardboard, weed matting or plants to stop the weeds coming back so quick

GWRS your plot looks great nice pathways, your sweetcorn got nice and tall so many on the allotments I applied for a plot don't really have them tall

Good to have projects going on

Beechgrove this week I just watched it has a bit on the allotments very worth a watch

Hello all

Been to Sholing valley study centre doing our volunteering this morning helped paint 2 large gazebos with waterproofer  

When home did more painting on Woody's small house, done some house cleaning  

Planted out some pansy plants and sweet Williams and a blue delphinium plant, pruned down all old flower stalks in bee and butterfly border

Hello all, went to the allotment shop today had a look around more pics on allotment thread

This is the large bale of straw I brought, from the allotment shop - weighs a lot and it is about 2" shorter than my shoulders brought it to mix in with the horse manure as it is too wet

Collected the pallets today from the station

Glad you enjoyed your day Woody - nice colour tulips, I have ordered loads of different ones to plant

and like I said about the pot being planted in the ground but I meant a spare one same size to take out when plant the tree a whole ready made then - I guess they will plant the tree later on

Evening all

Think Woody is heading up there today to stay over night nearer by to the show so enjoy the show tomorrow take photos

Later on as it is National Fitness Day went to the gym for an hour for free done my fitness

Now trying to sort out a poster for the new notice board area at the station got so far - but think it is time for tea now
