hanging baskets

To think of it I am going to try dwarf sweet peas in a hanging basket 14" one easy fill - I don't know whether to put sweet peas around the sides in the gates or just in the top

any one got an opinion which way to do?

Beaus Mum  I have one really small bed made from odd bits of wood around, one area which is long and thin ground bit and have used gravel boards which are normally at bottom of fences - 2 planks high so makes it 30cm high for the 1metre bed which are not that expensive

scaffold planks are good to use, I have some of the veg beds with them last a few years - good to paint the wood to treat it so does not rot too quick,  I will need to replace mine soon one plank bowed from the soil in it

I haven't started any clearing or seed sowing for that area yet still planning

Zoomer they did not stay long then maybe the next time the newbies go to their plots, as they must of been just checking out what their plot looks like

Ginagibbs I did not get groceries went for the gardening stuff, they did have fruit trees to tempt me but did not get any and some nice bright umbrellas

Stagbeetle good time to start seeds off now ish as it is lighter so seeds should be ok and not go leggy, I started the tomatoes off yesterday and the cape gooseberries - my window sill is full doing some more broad beans in a min

Wanting to get my 5 tier green house up next week so seedlings can go out in that and more room for more seed sowing

GWRS are you back yet..........
