Just in for a late lunch have managed to wash up lots of seed trays and cell trays

It was so hot for a while thought I would get a sun tan, gone bit cold and grey now

Too hot for a coat then too hot for a jumper on - sitting out doing the washing up saw lots of bees around even a tree bumble

Doughnuts in the house yummy

Just watched Alan T on ITV+1  33  he was planting up a container and all garden bits for front garden was bird houses on Wednesday and they were so amazingly made

Obelixx -that looks great like the idea of the roof garden on top

Here is how it started

Here is the tools I have used crowbar, hammer, sledge hammer, ear protectors and gloves

This is part way through - the planks took of the back

Here is how it looks now, nice tower of blocks and lots of planks of wood

New Allotment, advice please!!

Try to find lots of free pallets to make a compost heap.

Best tools for me a spade, hoe, hand held cultivator for weeding rake

Raised beds are good   He makes good allotment videos bit by bit

Well today I had a go at 1 pallet lots of hammering and bashing done using a hammer, crowbar, ear protectors,14lb sledge hammer and some bricks, took a while some bits a small split but good to use.  Most was done with the hammer and crowbar 2 planks came off like the stone drop method way but with the bricks and sledge hammer dropped on an extra piece of wood to keep the other wood ok underneath.

Well I made it one pallet all in bits of wood - dismantled, making a cold frame from this pallet and another pallet

Hand a bit sore even though wearing gloves

Will get the hang of it for the next pallet bit easier once one done and you know how to dismantle the pallet

Will add pictures another day

Hello Forkers

Here is my delivery I got today from CJ wildlife only ordered it Sunday so fast, so exciting when a delivery arrives

They are birds peanut butter food that you feed in the jar, bird house left side hole hope sparrows move in, squirrel feeder and a robin house and I got hedgehog food for the hedgehog if it wakes up from hibernating and a frog house for near the pond

This is the raised bed I made for mum all painted in maple leaf green, lots of space for her to fill with out the ivy getting in staying on the outer raised bed

I managed to do some seed tray washing still loads to do but it is a start and was enjoyable washing up while being outside with the birds about

I had some pancakes yummy

Hello all

Star gaze lily - check by scratching a bit of the stems of the paniculater hydrangea to see if you can see a green layer inside then it is fine just late in growing, if it is brown no good check a few areas
