with every ones own style

and some plots like this over grown

think when plots get like this overgrown they should have so long like on your plot Fruitcake to weed them

Hello all

Had a nosy around the allotments today - had a look at the one that won best allotment trophy at the veg show, quite neat

Planted out a few plants around pond area spotted the two frogs, turned the horse poo and added scrunched up news paper to help compost as told as the horses eats grass mostly not straw

Yes I have put my name down, only 18 months or so to wait.  They have put my name onto the list so I am waiting.

I know there are a couple of plots that are pretty run down so can't see why there is such a long waiting list if people are not caring for their plots.  I found out that their trading shed can be used by members of the public and so have been a couple of times to get things and to nosy at the allotments, enjoying a wander.

Received 48 perennial plugs, but what do I do next?

I had my plants in the pots for a month and planted them out a few days after the pic I posted earlier, I will say they will be fine after a month of growing in the pots and being looked after to get planted out.

As I only have a plastic green house and that will be put away before it gets too cold so the plants would be out in the open anyway and the border I have planted them into has a nice layer of new compost and they seem to be doing good so they will grow nice and strong out in the garden before the really cold weather kicks in.

I potted mine up 1 plant to a 9cm pot grew them on for a bit in an open plastic green house so I would say outside is fine now I have planted them out into a border outside to grow and get bigger on there own
