Hello nut, yes the honesty seeds did turn out to be varigated, thank you.  Would welcome more, plus the yellow rattle.  Don't worry about the stipa, there are lots of things that I haven't done too.

Could you tell me how to sow the rosa mogenii (?) seeds you sent me before as I haven't got round to sowing them yet, do they need to be soaked or anything?  Is it just a case of sowing them straight into compost?

Today I sowed a lot of seeds, pricked out others and then filled the garden waste bin with branches from a tree that was lopped at the weekend.

Here are the promised pics from the other day - the bottles hanging on the line and then in place in the bed with the lettuces in them.

Good Evening FORKERS

I would prefer just the evening forkers as then I can say what has been done and not what I want to do.   Also if it is only one there would be too many threads to read again.  Can't spend all my time on the computer reading through messages, need to spend time gardening.

Out in the garden today, a little rainy but not too bad.  Jetwashed several plastic bottles to use as plant protectors for veg plug plants.  Will add pics later.

Watched Chelsea and liked the Decades garden - the modern one with the remote control lawnmower looked good.  The push/pull lawnmower looked interesting - very much like hard work though.

Yesterday went to local fair and ended up buying loads of plants which were planted out.

Today also sawed some branches off a tree that was overhanging the raised bed I intend to use for runner beans so it had to go.

Off to bed now after long day.   Night all.
