Good Evening FORKERS

Posted: 21/05/2013 at 20:18

Evening all I came in earlier tonight as weather was bit cold and grey outside but no emails from forum again not fair as there have been posts.

I have just enjoyed reading all the posts.

Me done painting today as well, few more raised beds one in lavandula and just the top rims of the scaffold board raised beds in silver birch and sea grass cuprinol shades and now watching Chelsea flower show to get some good ideas and will prob end up wanting to buy more plants

Today I sowed a lot of seeds, pricked out others and then filled the garden waste bin with branches from a tree that was lopped at the weekend.

Here are the promised pics from the other day - the bottles hanging on the line and then in place in the bed with the lettuces in them.

I would prefer just the evening forkers as then I can say what has been done and not what I want to do.   Also if it is only one there would be too many threads to read again.  Can't spend all my time on the computer reading through messages, need to spend time gardening.

Out in the garden today, a little rainy but not too bad.  Jetwashed several plastic bottles to use as plant protectors for veg plug plants.  Will add pics later.

Watched Chelsea and liked the Decades garden - the modern one with the remote control lawnmower looked good.  The push/pull lawnmower looked interesting - very much like hard work though.

Yesterday went to local fair and ended up buying loads of plants which were planted out.

Today also sawed some branches off a tree that was overhanging the raised bed I intend to use for runner beans so it had to go.

Off to bed now after long day.   Night all.

Evening all

Did a quick bird feeder fill up then check greenhouse seedlings then back inside as been very wet all day and windy been inside cleaning as well and taking lots of cuttings the water butts - I have are full and I even empty out some into plastic bottles to help save more rain water.

Woodgreen wonderboy - maybe we could do a plant swap as I would like to visit your garden on the open day or if you do not want to swap - I could bring you a plant for your garden just say if there is any plant you would like and I will see if I have it in the garden or take cuttings of it I do have quite a few things around
