Hello all

Been watching the horses and sowing some seeds some peas and cucumbers

Saint are came second that is the horse I was watching after Soton Geoff picked it for me on other forum the last race

HELLO

Caral is there a way of lifting the shed with a few of you and putting some sort of thing under that you could roll the shed along bit by bit,  they sound nice on your site

Fruitcake were they digging up all the plants to leave the allotment and move off or to re do the place, pain when they not been there for so long

GWRS did you get to the allotment today?

Put up 12 canes in pea bed then sowing peas in pots show perfection trying to do the cordon method and also sowed peas in row trays onward pea and little marvel next cucumbers and courgettes

Yes think you could sow them in Autumn it will make the flowers come out earlier than spring flowering ones,  I used deep root trainers - block of pots that open with no root disturbance like little books

we have a south facing garden and my cold frame faces east

Christine 007  That was the first time I did Autumn sowing, normally I just sow them in spring but I made a coldframe so they had somewhere to go in Autumn

Can I ask when you plant things out do they have to be on the same symbol day/time? 

Like leaf on leaf days and flower on flower days

We planted some of my Autumn sweet pea plants today at the station we brought some of that plastic coated netting you said about David K  thanks

So hope they like the area and grow well, will add pics when plants are a bit bigger

Sounds a good idea to section off the plot,  Good that the person got some spuds planted even with smashed gh glass

I got the Garden News mag today with the flower bouquet bit it in still need to read it all but sowed the seeds that came with it for leave colour

Some of my other seeds are coming up like my cornflower, cosmos and some from the cell tray that I grew them in. my sunflower some have germinated now out in the gh  

Fence got sorted behind flower patch so need to put the wire back up and dig the bed and add compost

Hello all

Planted sweet peas up station - seeds that Lesley gave us sown in Autumn, dug a few holes for some hedging plants to go in sometime soon saw lots of butterflies about and bees

Cut the grass in garden even the newer turf from Autumn much better look out there now just the edging to do yet

Me knackered off soon
