Hello all, rained over night and this morning nice sunny now

I ordered bulbs last night from deJager - tulips lots of different ones, one lot of daff and a special bulb parcel - multi bulbs in that £40 worth of bulbs for £20 not too many bulbs, going to make 1-2 pots with lots of tulips in

not sure what I am up to today

Zoomer  one of the site reps on the plot I want to get an allotment has 4 plots, your plot no 1 sounds more like a communal allotment where you can get help if needed and more likely to have plant left overs from others donated, other plot bit quite, is there not many in that area?

Philippa smith2 sounds as though you had a good harvest,  what type of broad beans are they?

Hello woody sounds as you had an interesting mystery tour

Star gaze lily I need to catch up on my lost sleep feel tired now

Have sorted out plants in one place for the station that need to be planted up there, clearing one plastic gh getting ready to wash and put it away

Fruitcake -  I guess you could grow bedding plants, lettuce, herbs - lots of small plants in the pallet that don't get too big

Zoomer44 you could have taken over the whole site before you know it  - making it all look more tended too. I guess it does make it easier to make one large plot,  how far away is the other half plot - the other end of site?

Zoomer do you get bark chippings on your site that would make paths pretty quick to the other half of plot,   As long as the tenant doesn't rush back to the site and clear stuff up - you will end up with some goodies

GWRS sounds as though lots of grafting was done on the new bit of allotment and had a good harvest as well

That is good Ginagibbs bark chipping every where

Think I am going to the allotment shop on Saturday morning, even that is exciting even though I will have to wait a bit a year or so for an allotment yet,  I will take a camera and have a wonder around nosing at people plots
