New allotment OMG...

Posted: 08/06/2015 at 21:16

Been to the allotment

Collected lots of bark chipping today for under a seating area  all bagged up one the plot - ,just need to finish digging a few metres and get the weed matting down

Thanks Zoomer44, I went down one side of the plot to make an area so no where near the seating and shed area if not I would have to wait even longer to get them going

Hello

Went to Stansted garden show yesterday (near Chichester) and Katie from Youtube Lavender and Leeks had a stall so got to meet her and see her dad and mum talked about my plot and hers and I brought a few bits - a crook, a string holding frame and some bulldog clips, me 5.2 but Katie is so much taller, I brought a few bits from other stalls

Here is the bits from Katie's stall

Been to the allotment today nice hot and sunny, we cleared 3 metres of top growth so we can see the soil, still the digging to go, this is in a different area on the plot as I want to make a temporary bed for left over veg and flowers plants as lots of seedlings germinated and I want to keep them all

Trimmed some grass down, so want them to strim the plot but not done yet

Noticed a large pile of bark chipping so will be bagging some tomorrow

How are your plots doing?

HELLO FORKERS!
