That's some for you then Lesley enjoy

We did not plant the tree been there for years I guess apples were quite high up and brambles in front -  we have not got around to clearing that bit - and if the train stops the passengers have to walk the other way up the slope - so I think it's OK

That's good Angle that the plots get measured, maybe they are smaller, did look and see a sign that said12 on one plot and 12A for one so maybe at one point they got halved then the plot would of been much bigger

Do you have a gh on your plot, shed or somewhere to shelter if it gets really wet?

Hello not too far away I live in Southampton, Hampshire.

Half price allotments that sound good.

Q - Do they measure out how many square metres on a plot for the amount of rent you pay?

As one thing I was reading says an allotment is normally 10 rods = 25 square metres a rod about the size of a tennis court - 250 square rods

Someone up the allotment mentioned while I was looking around being nosy - about that being one plot and it did not look that big more like a half a plot but was meant to be a whole plot - would want the plots to be measured out to pay the right rent

So many nice veg and flowers on some plots and lots of chickens - one plot was nearly all chickens
