Yep nothing like the big allotment challenge but then knew it would not be that easy

At home got things growing will be planting out beans this week and going to Stansted garden show on Saturday near Chichester so will get some inspiration and other stuff

Use the tree icon then insert pic from file on computer upload button, press ok to the writing bit that comes up then wait a bit you will see your pic then push ok

What I do with mine is look at the pic I want to upload then right click edit in paint programme resizing button - reducing size down to about 30% saving it - then uploading on gw forum, then when you click on the image it allows it to be see it bigger rather than script - but your photo may be able to be seen the first way bigger so try it

Hope this helps you - see if you can test out a photo on here

GWRS me not grown pumpkin either, there is a small shed that next door don't use really right next to the path and we used that area to sit eat food and shelter from the wind

Hands ok ish today ended up coppicing trees around the pond - volunteering Sholing valley study centre  -  thought it would be litter picking and it was raining

Digging is really hard some areas tough grass, hoping the next bit will be easier but there are lots of brambles so that will mean roots under ground

One allotment woman said we have done well compared to the last people, this plot has never really been dug / cleared so will be tough but mine

Hello all

Went to Wyevale on Friday got a free petunia - silver wave, free compost as well as had vouchers and also had money off vouchers to use, I got a bulk buy of bird food and plantlets of sweetcorn and cucumber - female plant

Spent a long time digging at the allotment Saturday

Today been volunteering at Sholing valley study centre was coppicing trees around the pond even in the rain me got really wet

Later weather dried up so managed to get some flower plants out - sunflowers are out hope they grow nice and tall,  had to do a bit of teasel weeding first - seedlings seem to be popping up all over the place

Clarington it will be sunny tomorrow

I've got bees

Your basket looks great, I finally sowed petunias after getting new seeds and they are getting there, going to try and start baskets soon with other plants first,  I've got nasturtiums and marrigolds

Gave up on the morning glory in a basket took a while to grow now going to grow up a wire trellis

Ginagibbs sure you will get to your plot sometime soon

Fruitcake sure it won't harm the potato plant, a strawberry great I was looking at the plot beside mine and they had about 1 or 2 red strawberries look so good

Well spent a long long time at today at allotment plot took some food and had a small picnic, digging grass was tough to get though to clear to get to the soil to start to digging and there were big bramble roots

Found lot of old crisp packets and a can of beer then found a large piece of metal under the grass and a large metal nail and bolt - lucky we know the site rep said they will be getting a skip some time as in part of the car park there is a car bumper and stuff in a pile - and we are allowed to add our stuff to it

Well we managed to do a metre one way and a metre and a half the other that is the start of the next row along - hand has got a bit of a blister forgot padded/ thick gloves and ache a bit resting now

Got a offer from next door plot to help as they have a cordless strimmer as all weeds have grown really tall - think I am cultivating weeds on my plot

So we will see who can strim the plot first NDN or the other man who is getting a strimmer from the council
