Rock garden

Make sure you leave some good gaps for plants, play around with the rock until you like it - cause if something not right you will always look at it like that bit would of looked better there, when filling with soil make sure you water it in to let the soil settle in between the rock add more if needed before adding plants

Hello all

Just wrote a long post and lost it damn computer

too tired to write all again - but I have been grafting today

Lots of shredding - last bit of shredding was brambles from next door garden but over hanging our wall and I am well paying for that now with pain in hands deffo need thick gloves for doing that

Digging clearing and filling garden waste bin

Fairy you could use the brick as a stepping stone

Sounds as lots of you lot been busy bees

Hello all

Tillered big path area of veg path trying to sort out for turf - got it all done, so much shaking from that machine, cleaned the tiller all up I was just sorting it out for packing up rain started so that was a faster pack up.

Managed to feed the birds - brought more bird food online this morning  

Lesley K cyclamen are nice though

Chicky - did not know about a prog with Monty in next week will check this out thanks

Heat wave here I think well it is warmer out than it was last week

Busy-Lizzie sure you will get them bulbs planted sometime, I still have loads

Lyn -Snakeshead Frittillaries like soil a bit damp I think, not had them much in the garden they disappear here

That sound great Fruitcake and GWRS, cleared away the old fire bin squashed it into bits as no good no more will have to get a new one

Hello all

Was out in garden a small bit clearing rubbish, moving bale of straw which is nice and wet - still need to add it to the horse poo yet.

Calendar sounds good Woody

Matty2 glad you got the plants you wanted shame it started raining - did here too

I filled up empty plastic bottles with water butt water - to get extra water as butts over full 

Verdun your grass sounds lovely

Quite a lot of the bulbs are going into pots but lots in ground too, just need the weather to be better
