Here you go Roy pic below this is my potting table built out of pallets this year took quite a while to build, it was more separating the pallet wood and putting it together so without gaps in it, very handy to have - and have a grow bag water tray to help water plants when potted on

That seems a good deal, I was looking at the T&M gh but was too wide for my space

Me scared to go that way in the drive feel like I want him to be out and when you walk to go down the garden you have to go past the drive not a private area need to have a gate - he has only lived there a few years and does not do gardening other than using a hedge trimmer over all the plants

I like going in the garden and won't stop me going that way - really need to sort out building my cold frame this week and was going to use a bit of the drive way now not so sure

Normally we are fine with the neighbours just keep the peace

Thanks Lesley and Thanks Woody may well do that sometime is peaceful there

Monkey puzzle glad I don't have one of those if you did it would have to be in a pot as if not you could be stuck with it in your garden as you are not allowed to remove them

Hello all

Well spent the day moving pallets - as last night next door neighbour down the joint drive way started walking up and down F**** and blinding out there bashing things

I looked out back window upstairs he was staring in the garden then turned around saw me and he started shouting at me with  F***** words loudly, dad went out as he heard shouting and he was having a right moan shouting and moaning about me having the pallets in the drive and that seeing the pallets when he goes in the kitchen for his tea in the morning is pissing him off even though he does have blinds on the window

They were all on our side of the drive, all he had to do was ask nicely for them to be moved and not go the way he did about it

Then started about our tree in the garden

Really stressful - think he has turned into a neighbour from hell

Hello Edd

The only ones I have had is that big gh and 4 or 5 tier grow houses which I had to weigh down with bricks stop it falling over in strong winds, but I understand what you mean not great having to look after lots of plants when you don't have the room

How about trying something like this with pallets and plastic - I saw this while going around a garden thought that was a good idea and took a picture, the small gh are worth the money even for a few year

Zoomer that is good you have potatoes, my main crop was all scabby so did not get much think it was all the topsoil I added to the raised bed made the soil have to much lime in it,  will be adding lots of compost to it

I noticed a bag and a crate of Albert Bartlett potatoes so they are starting to come into the garden centres

I go to a potato show end of January in Hampshire to get my spuds for the garden raised bed and grow bags, then I can by a few separate spuds of different varieties

If I get my allotment next year I might be heading to the garden centres to get spuds if they still have them

Hello here is my one I made this year at Inexcess shop with help, the lady doing demo had a wire circle then uses straw to put around and wraps wire over it so you get a straw circle on top of the wire frame - then used a green plastic tape but you can use cut up bin liners wrap around so you have a green fat circle

Then place the fir tree bits on wrap wire around to secure them in place then the same with the holly just don't wrap as many times around with the wire fiddly and prickly bit - just make sure it is tight enough

Then it was adding fir cones using a bit of wire around the bottom and poking them in the plastic and straw base till they went in well and same with decorations I went with the bows, also added some plastic holly red berries they were on wire just poked them in

Adding a pull string bow and done - make sure you do the shake test so nothing falls off
