Good Evening FORKERS

Evening was a nice day just a lot of walking and standing up and needed more cake but all went quick

Thanks Chicky did listen to a small bit of GQT, not won awards this year - garden needs more plants really. sounded nice planters and great journey interesting

4th panda - GC great what sort of plants did you get - nice ones I'll bet - that is what a gc does you have a little look and plants say buy me they all look at you pic me

Evening all

Been a long day (feel tired) went off to see the trains lots of them, walked in and around and sat in chairs even first class, nice

Had bit of their 10 year celebration cake loverly, tasty yum.

Played driver in a few trains and played with the lights and used the windscreen washers.

Trip on steam train carriage at the end - long queue to get on though, got to go past the saints stadium.

At the station later planted out few more plants - wallflower and sweet williams

Woodgreen wonderboy - is cold at min outside want it to pass over don't mind being out in the garden but not with the cold wind

you did say you came from southampton bit noisy that close to the main train goods area, train runs at the bottom of the garden here but down a hill a bit, so not too bad noise only go past a few times an hour

 

here is the details for tomorrow - there may be cake I will be heading for that

4th panda - primroses are pretty first flower that show up in the garden here, like the sound of a discovery journey - it is a bit like that up the station garden with lots of allium popping up we did not plant there and lots of nice ferns appeared  

Jersery plants free p+p as well great

Hello 4th panda nice to hear from you

plants are for the front and back garden yellow primroses - sunshine and blue jeans primroses and stock which was unknown till came like all good size plants

still to plant lots of bulbs at station, but want to cold winds to pass off

Going to look around trains tomorrow in southampton northam traincare facility for there 10 years celebration some steam trains to be there as well just for the occasion

Thanks Brumbull not heard from you for a while, hello, got a nice mystery plant offer of stock from jersery plants to go with the primroses I got.

Was a cold windy day today and a bit wet

Will be watching GW on tv in a bit like to watch any garden show on tv

Is your garden small or big?

the front garden small here and back long but thin with a many plants as I can put in still needs lot more though

Gardeningfantic - Acanthus can, after many years, grows to being anything between 30 - 60cms  for the leaves

it takes a while from seed

I gave you the honesty purple, common burdock and small mauve scabious glad they are coming up well

 

Urban Wildlife - I have seeds to swap can't remember what a min all flowers

oh and I forgot to say that caterpillar orange and red one has turned into a cocoon in the garden so will keep watch, I think it will turn into a moth in spring when warmer

Evening Forkers

Fairygirl I would like some of your white buddleia if you have spares in spring

Been to the station garden planted out some wall flower and then at home collect seeds holly hock and white mallow, bit cold and windy today

Spotted a nice butterfly today
