Sunny and warmer today and dry amazing so I was out in the garden used the tiller preparing area for turf, planted up a container with forget me nots, 3 of my free tulips charade, orange violas and a purple daisy

Spent a while washing up my 4 basket and some pots from front garden ready to plant, then emptied out 2 of the hanging basket from summer and washed them as well - managed to plant up one hanging basket with my plants

spotted loads of ladybird larvae

Now GW time cut flower I have been waiting for

Hello Busy-Lizzie you got wallflower too, the compost I got was split open bags so only 2 pounds one of the bargains I got

Forgot to add that when I got home a parcel had been delivered and it was in the garage it was my GW offer of the wallflower

So I soaked them in water for an hour and a bit then waterproofs on out into the garden it was not raining lucky then heeled them in the veg patch like Monty said on GW last week to plant them out on same day they were nicely watered in by the rain later

They came so quick and are great plants

It was such loud thunder and was very close

will add plant pics sometime

Thanks Chicky that helps looks like the edge's could go around the thick Perspex,  will have to check them out  - are they called a certain name

Posted: 08/10/2014 at 17:28

I have a thick square sheet of Perspex to use for the lid, Fairygirl like the sound of windows

Chicky do you think they do slide on edge stripes for that?  Pallet planks for the base I will just have to figure out how to do that  - that is maths to do and measuring

That is good Woody I liked that area when you had the open garden so colourful
