Hi going to try making a gardening cake as we are celebrating adopting a railway station garden for 1 whole year

Just wondering has anyone made a gardening cake

any tips and any pics?

Matty2  did you get the gw mag and free bulb voucher, I got free bulbs yesterday Tulip Charade looks similar to the one you have wrote down when looked up orange colour and red bits

Ginagibbs I watch Sean's allotment on Youtube -  he did spend a good amount of time in one video taking down the runner beans,  there is good advice on his hort channel me a fan

I watch a few on Youtube Rick van man, Claire's allotment, Katie's allotment great watching them all and get good information and something to watch that is good

Hello all

Went to the GC yesterday got my free bulbs from the mag and had another voucher 5 pound off when I spent 25 quid got a few plants for that - they kept jumping into the trolley and some seed compost to start them sweet peas seeds off in Autumn this year

More like rats loads (so cute) eat of the bird feeders I put out, But my seeds will be covered with a plastic lid so should be fine

Hi Mozey and Welcome I would say if the chickweed is in the way move it if not maybe it won't hurt to leave it not really had that in the garden only bindweed issues

What area you from?  Is it a whole plot or half you have?

I am on the list for a plot it is all exciting listen to you lot about allotments and getting info and looking at photos, I just visit the allotment shop and be nosy that is still exciting

GWRS Beechgrove gardens meant to be on Sunday morn at 9.30 but jumps around a lot I watch later on

Zoomer shame about the bark chipping, might of been a one off though - you can test out the grass paths
