Fruitcake when are you going to see the plot again?

I expect loads of people try start on plots either do things too much at once or get put off and give up even though they want a plot

Hello all, will catch up shortly with you all

Not long been in, spent most of the day out in the garden laying turf - well I have learnt how to do that today 10 rolls of turf all put out in bottom of garden  (thought I was going to have dad doing it)

Thanks all even though a long way off yet - it is nice finding out information from you all - council run this allotment

I guess none of you have looked at a plot and not been keen on it or liked it - I guess if that happens you go to the end of the list

Fruitcake enjoy your look around on Saturday

Just a Q when they tell you that a plot is available do you get a phone call letting you know or a letter?

Question for all

Q who gets to show you the plot is it a member of the allotment or someone else?

Just wondering as not got that far yet

Do you have a garden fruitcake?  you could get the chickens to eat the slugs

You will be able to grow lots of fresh veg and have your own grown cut flowers

you need to let him know it all taste better home grown and you get nice fresh air to be out in

You need to let him pick out a few veg/flowers that he would be really interested in

let him have a man shed that may help

not really sure what to say fruitcake

Hello all, been horse poop shifting out of bag adding straw moved to different area but back into the bag

Moved all pots and baskets from yesterday into places in the garden, temporary for baskets till they get put down the road to the station - but make the garden look nice now till I plant up my baskets - when I buy the plants - think I will be coming your way Woodgreen Wonderboy for the plants from the bloom place next week

Done one pack of the nematodes to keep the slugs down

Been a cold day out there today but some bits of my list done even if I did get distracted by clearing other bit of the bottom of the garden and moving things around and feeding the birds

un known succulent plants

Hello all

Been to the container talk got a few tips

Here is my first plant pot,  I mixed the tulips in this pot - fern red beauty - viola sorbet lemon ice blotch -  free moss - this pot is my classic pot - going in an ish shady spot

Here is pot no2 this one I decided to go with blocks of tulips orange one side and purple the other

Bekkie I have used your idea so thank you, I have orange plant on top of the purple bulbs and near purple plant on top orange bulbs, I went mad with bright coloured heather and have an alpine in the middle - this is my funky bright pot - going outside my greenhouse till that goes down

Here is the hanging baskets for the station we picked out the plants and mum got to play plant up with the plants

Last pic both plant pots ready to go to there new home and to pay for the plants first

I ended up buying allium bulbs atropurpureum as they were 25% off and not grown them before - so that was 30 bulbs planted and 10 brought so still lots to plant for me

Was a windy ish day but sunny so a little cold when doing the containers even under the tent green house

Mrs Garden I think I have your thing spotted a nice autumn colour tree -so like it
