Good year for sweetcorn?

Posted: 21/08/2014 at 11:25

Damn weather Chris 11

First time I have grown Mini pop sweetcorn, I ran out of sweetcorn seeds last year and this year I am not allowing myself to buy any seeds - I have far to many to sow.

I went to a potato show and seed swapped found sweetcorn seeds, so that was good so got to grow them this year, 2 cobs per a plant that is great - tried these from shop brought not keen on them - but home grown love them

Hello all

Like the arch Panda happy Bday

Been planting up the border today and finished planting out all the plants, knees a bit sore definitely a work out on my legs, the amount of time bending and standing up.  Sort out pics when I take them - butterflies and bees flocking in already

Woody will there at the open gardens next year for your garden and a few we did not get to see  - might meet Chicky then

Here are Woody's pics for you all to see - he finished planting his terrace today
