Forester2 is tricky having to know what you need to take all the time that must be planning what you will do before going, understand the annoying bit of having to go back and get bits done that a lot for the station garden now have a small yellow grit bin we use for our tools  like that you have hidden a chair

Forester2 your plots looks amazing in that pic shame you don't get to have a shed and only one lot of water, I guess you have to take drinks with you

BizzieB sounds as though the horse manure is doing well, have you got a shed on your plot now?

Fruitcake that is great part of the chicken wire on it is a big frame to cover, I think it may take you a while to do

Stagbeetle are you going to have an area for cut flowers?  I see on the other thread you are getting your keys tomorrow - so free range of plot from then on

Been weeding part of station garden today lots of bulbs showing - going to start the broad beans off soon

Q for all  How long did you spend looking around the plot that was offered to you?    me just being nosy

Zoomer44 good find from a skip, you have been busy, I am planning what and where things will go in the raised beds

Stagbeetle do you have shop or any thing on your plot?  are there lots of plots?

Stagbeetle Thanks you,   so does that mean you can pop over to the wardens plot and ask for tips or advise any time when he is there -  if not to pee him off when he is busy

I will contact the council part way in March to see if I have moved on the list from 8th hope so, sure there are plots that need some care - will have to go there again some time to look around the shop and the plots

Nickh that is not nice of them to laugh at you were doing a it properly and gained the best of the weeds staying away

That most plot holders are friendly that is because you all have a conmen ground enjoying gardening  which is brill

That sounds like the warden is really helpful  - make sure you check out the sunniest bit for the seating area so nice to sit there all year round, barbecue that sounds good I can come for that bit right  nice lot of burgers

Is a warden a person that regally checks the site?

Stagbeetle great plot looks like a nice sized one, nice to have a shed with a shelter, Later on good if you can make a seating area -  glad you have got a plot with out very high weeds now time to plan plan plan and clear and dig bit by bit remember

A good thing is to take a picture in the same place ever so often so you can see what has been done

It is the year of the sunflower have a competition with him see who can grow the biggest or get the first flower out

Q for all when you go to see a plot that has been offered  How long did you spend looking around the plot offered?
