Thanks 4thPanda

I will get samples from there got some before from there great service post right through the letterbox, I have been using some on my bug boxes I have been making - trying to use the samples up and add colour to the garden.

Last time I went to b&q they only had 1ltr size tins at the smallest which is not - fair like small tins just to re do small bits of the painting in the garden and tester were big enough to do good size area.

The tester though the post are just right size to use and come with a small paint brush which helps

Not sure whether to paint all of back sleepers or bits like stripes or blocks to add hints of colour

4thPanda it is a real train station where I volunteer at helping with the garden and litter pick- south west trains mainly blue red and yellow ones with the occasional green train or even a first great western rushing past fast trains, the trains stop at the station once an hour either side every half hour

Don't think we have to match the colour

Good point Dove about the plants and the colour
