Tootles nice to treat yourself to cake when you go the gc

David K your sweet peas looked fab for planting out in March - another Q when you plant out your sweet peas do you add multi purpose compost to the area?

Thanks for the info growing just for cut flowers, cold frame all as bits of wood at min, will get there and I will put the sweet peas out in it to germinate

Ginagibbs that sounds good nice to have a small pond even something to watch keep an eye on them all and keep the slugs down

Sound like it is digging time for some of you

Zoomer I would say sounds as if the raspberry's are autumn fruiting - I make sure I prune them all down about February time, as they fruit on the same years growth

Thanks David K   I will be going to the GC sometime before end September will get seed compost then - feel like the spring when I can't wait to sow seeds

Can I ask if you sow in a root trainer how many seeds per cell? I have 22 seeds in the pack and do you put the tray indoors to germinate or leave outside with the plastic lid on

Got to build the cold frame yet out of pallet planks hope to have it done by end of October
